After settling into my room and trying to figure out what day it was, we spent a relatively sedate day at the hotel,with many of our juniors catching up on their sleep. We welcomed the hockey teams with their 120 pound bags of equipment. We seem to be a bit of curiosity to the more traditional athletes.
When our two top rated players , masters Joseph Zeltsan and David Wyde faced off in five minute we drew a crowd of curious onlookers from the hockey team. Joseph possesses impressive positional skills for his age or any age. David is a dangerous counter puncher.
Finally after a 25 hour ordeal we are one big happy family.
After dinner we attended the Israel version of Maccabiah kickoff . It began with a rousing rendition of Israeli music that had much of the young athletes dancing. My phone wasn't internet connected or I would have done a Facebook Live. It was an awe inspiring moment that made you proud to be Jewish.

The Rugby team brought the house down with an original song not fit for family blogs.
Today we hit Jerusalem. Should be exciting
